The Vision of the Department of Chemistry is to generate and disseminate knowledge through a harmonious blend of ancient and modern wisdom, and to serve the society by developing in students heightened intellectual, cultural, ethical, and humane sensitivities, to foster a scientific temper, and to promote professional and technological expertise. The main vision is a commitment to regional and national development in consonance with our culture, heritage, and environment.
Mission
• To provide the students with in-depth knowledge of the science (Chemistry) and its importance
• To create awareness among the students about the environmentally benign and eco-friendly techniques that can be carried out in the scientific laboratories through the basic knowledge of Green Chemistry
• To provide the students with adequate knowledge of analytical techniques and various other skills for future research and thereby helping them in pursuing their carrier in this field
• To give opportunities to the students to develop their creativity and other activities
• To develop scientific as well as social temperament among the students
• To achieve excellence in teaching and research.
